My Approach
I take a personalised approach to therapy, focusing on empowering you to overcome challenges such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, body image issues, and healing your inner child. Through therapy I guide you towards self-realisation and a renewed sense of self-worth.
Empowering You Through Awareness
My own experience with mental health struggles is why I became a Therapist, completing my training at the East Anglian Institute of Hypnotherapy with Master Hypnotherapists Mike Buckley and John Plester. I have also completed training in Transactional Analysis, carried out safeguarding training with Norfolk County Council, and hold a current DBS check. I am registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council and the General Hypnotherapy Register.

I know from my own experience that there is no
one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. So I take an integrative approach, drawing on different aspects of a range of techniques depending on your needs.

Some of the approaches I use include Neurolinguistic Programming to challenge negative self-talk with the aim of reprocessing old patterns to replace them with new positive ones. I also use elements of Transactional Analysis to help you reconnect with your inner child, allowing you to understand your interactions with others in more depth, so you can move forward in a more positive way. Every technique I use is designed to help you reprocess negative behaviours and experiences at a deeper, unconscious level. At all times, there is a coaching element of my practice to encourage you to move forward to a new chapter. Research shows that interacting with a dog greatly reduces feelings of anxiety and improves mood. Therefore, my dog, Ted, joins clients in every session.
While I may sometimes encourage you to look back as part of the therapy process, it will always be with one eye on the future. By understanding how the events of the past have impacted where you are today, you can use them to move to a more positive future.

Through our work together you can turn to a more positive chapter of your life.
