What Can You Expect From A Session Together?
I use a mixture of talking and counselling techniques to help you overcome the challenges in your life.
Supportive, compassionate therapy to help you move forward
Life can be complex, and at times, overwhelming. You may be facing anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, or simply a sense that something isn’t quite right. Whatever has brought you here, psychotherapy can provide a safe, supportive space to explore what you're experiencing and begin to find clarity, confidence, and healing.

How psychotherapy can help
Talking with a trained therapist allows you to step back and reflect on your thoughts, feelings, and patterns of behaviour in a confidential setting. By gaining insight into your inner world and how past experiences may be influencing the present, psychotherapy can help you:
-
Understand and manage overwhelming emotions
-
Improve relationships and communication
-
Break unhelpful cycles of behaviour
-
Develop greater self-awareness and confidence
-
Reconnect with a deeper sense of purpose and wellbeing

Psychotherapy isn’t about fixing you. You are not broken. It’s about giving space to all parts of your experience, including the ones that may feel too difficult or painful to share elsewhere. Over time, this process can help you feel more integrated, resilient, and empowered in your life.

A space to feel seen and heard
I offer a warm, non-judgmental approach where you are welcome just as you are. Sessions are collaborative and tailored to your individual needs, whether you're looking for support with a specific issue or seeking personal growth more broadly.

Some of the things I help people with include:
-
Feelings of anxiety and panic
-
Feelings of depression and low mood
-
Stress and burnout
-
Loss, bereavement, and life transitions
-
Trauma and difficult childhood experiences
-
Self-esteem and identity
-
Relationship challenges

What to expect
Our first session is an opportunity to get to know each other and to explore what brings you to therapy. There is no pressure to commit there and then as it’s important that you feel comfortable and it feels like the right fit.

If we decide to work together we will meet at regular intervals, either in person at my therapy room in Norwich or online, depending on your preference. Sessions are one hour long and entirely confidential.

Ready to take the next step?
If you’re considering therapy and would like to talk more, please get in touch. I’m happy to answer any questions you may have or arrange an initial appointment to explore how I can support you.
You don’t have to face things alone. Therapy can be the first step toward meaningful change.

We don’t see things as they are,
we see them as we are.
